Len Ochs, PhD, is a neurophysiologist with a doctorate in psychology.
He began his psychotherapy practice in 1966 and neurofeedback in 1975.
He is considered one of the pioneers in the field of neurofeedback, especially in the area of instrumentation development.
He was honored at the ISNR 2014 conference in San Diego, California, with theJoel F. Lubar Awardfor his pioneering contributions in the field of neurofeedback.
Dr Len Ochs developed the LENS Neurofeedback in the 1990s and since then has studied and developed this technique to make it into what it is today.
Since it was first developed 25 years ago through to today, there have been years of experimentation and learning, new and more efficient amplifiers, more precise software, new mapping systems and other improvements which make the LENS a uniqueneurofeedback and neurotherapy system
